The 8007000b error is addressed here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939399/en-us Don't be surprised if it doesn't work as you have some corruption, as found by sfc. If the machine is fairly new with very little loaded on it, it may be quicker to repair the installation. Good luck. Edit: It has occurred to me that you may correct the sfc corruption by running 'chkdsk /f /r' in a elevated command prompt then try the 'sfc /scannow' command. |
