record flash movies?? youtube?

I am looking to record a few clips from youtube of a party I was it. Don't ask your not having the link lol
Can anyone sugest a free program that can do it?
Also, what about a prog that can covert it to any format, 3gp, mpeg etc
I have done several searches, google is your friend, and found so many but unsure of which one,
