I realise that for you it's not a good deal. However, I thought it was worth posting because I'm sure a lot of readers of this forum aren't allowed the free version of AVG, so I thought that Ł11.50 for a combined firewall, virus checker, spam filter, and spyware checker seemed like a good deal.

Other readers might, quite understandably, not want to use free software for something as important as virus protection. Also, the 2007 version of NIS is supposed to be far less resource hungry as previous versions.

PS: Obviously, I'm not criticising your choice of using free software, it's just that I thought that there would be people that my post would help.
