Yes, you get the equipment free as do new customers, but if you want to drop your package to their new option I as an existing user you cannot take advantage of any of the offers unless you cancel and rejoin meaning loss of service and email address, even if you remain on your current option the introductory offer is not available to you. My point is why do these companies punish their existing customer base, why not throw them a little bonus for staying loyal from time to time, its easier to retain your existing customers than get new ones. BTs response has made me shop around wheras I would have just carried on with them, they may yet prove to be the best option but now they have turned a happy customer into a disgruntled one. |
