Where to bag a bargain upgrade for your computer

Did you know that Computer Hardware can be brought in some Shops on Britains High street and Its not cheap rubbish ...Just genuinely cheap...It's often Liquidation stock brought in bulk and You have to be eagle eyed to spot it.
Most of you know about Aldi & Lidl Getting Computers and some hardware. But I shall give you Several Web URLs of Retailers who Carry Stock All you have to do is track what is in stock and share the Information
Ist up is Wilkinsons www.wilko.com who have had "All in 1" printers copier scanners I think they were either HP,Epson or Canon
Then there is Rymans (AKA Partners) www.ryman.co.uk who Sold the same, Plus items such as Mouse's, Printer Ink Cartridges (not cheap)
Prices in the low 30 pound bracket
Now to the More hard to find stores
Poundstretcher stores or Instore store www.instoreretail.com , had on their shelves when I looked in
a Mouse and Keyboard set for Get this 9 pounds! and the keyboard alone.... 4 Pounds!!
and it looked as it could stand up to several months abuse
Another chain store worth looking out for Based mainly in the North West (Lancashire / Merseyside/ Manchester) are the B & M Bargain stores (They are the old GlynnWebb stores and they slowly are opening up new branches) They have 98 listed on their site! www.glynwebb.co.uk/maps.htm
The other day when I was in Bolton I espied on their shelves no less than 3 different Webcams all priced @ 9 pounds (and there were plenty in stock) Was a fleeting glance, unknown what other Goodies there were lurking on those shelves.I shall return!
and I found that if there is another store nearby look in there too as they don't hold identical stock.
These are an old type store whose interior is very " Non Decorated" Seen many reviews criticising this. I used to work in such a store. Remember Kwiksave ? Somerfield is the tidied up version. Only difference Prices reflect the decor ,and there is "some more" choice Are you bothered?
Fact: Most Cash & Carr's and Trade Counters don't dress up ...Would you go looking for a bargain in a tidied up store?(They often hide the Managers specials in a quiet corner) or wheel them out once or twice per year or advertise them online!

Returning to Normal computer stores Check out Cex, also Maplins But do NOT rely on the Maplin Catalogue, there are many odds and ends scattered on the shelves at Maplins (good for computer enthusiasts) www.maplin.co.uk
Cex source items Like Hard drives and Graphic cards if you make a request (sell quite a lot of used equipment too even Memory Cards )
www.cex.co.uk

Odd store out is Home Bargain They barely stretch to something as exotic as a computer mouse. Again, Look in and browse May surprise you?
