I am in the process of redesigning my website JimwebF1 (www.jimwebf1.co.uk) and I would like some feedback to see if im on the right track.

I have used the readers website forum in the past as it is an effective means of improving websites. The page I have designed has no working links and only limited content but I would like feedback on the general look and feel of it. This is my first effort using Macromedia Studio MX2004 (having previously used Microsoft Frontpage)

I have tried to acheive a more minimalist and simple look for the page and have designed a different navigation system (not working but hover over it to see the effect)
