I'm not too sure - in my opinion they don't really go with the rest of the site. To be blunt, the general header looks a bit lost, as though you had a few graphic elements, shook them up in a bag, and put them on the site. That sounds a bit harsh, but it doesn't seem to flow for some reason.

But what do I know? I'm not sure. I think the main thing you might be battling with is lack of content. If you had lots of content or ideas or something around which your site was based, other elements like navigation etc. would be a lot easier to work out, because there would be a purpose to what you're doing.

Apologies for the pessimistic tones. You've certainly improved on the graphics / web design side since your first postings here...
