I think you misunderstood the site, I do not recommend any software on the site, I just provide a list of the free software which is available. I would not condone anybody downloading any software without first researching it themselves. For example, Spybot has been available for a long time and information on it is freely available both online and off. You don't have to try hard to find out about it, with 56 million downloads on download.com at last count, including me.

As for reliable sources, I have downloaded software from some very famous and extremely popular websites (which don't use clipart) only to find spyware in it. On the other hand, I have visited some very informative amateur sites such as the ones on this forum (with clipart) and found the content to be excellent. I think anyone who takes anything at face value nowadays is very nieve, do your own research.

After saying all that, I thank you for your post, I think criticism is very healthy for a site, as you can see by the above posts, I am very open to changing anything about the site that people find are just plain wrong.
