Hi,
well, I'm not sure about how to get the balance between having an uncluttered site and one that isn't too plain.
I generally prefer to lay things out in an uncluttered way, as per something like this or another site I did here is also pretty plain...
Anyway, it's all a matter of opinion isn't it. Good luck with the site and the teaching. I like the site updates - navigation is fine now.
