Printing on Photo Cards

Hi, Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope someone can help me with a problem I have printing on to Photo Card. I am using Corel Photo Paint 9, I have a Hewlett Packard PSC 1205 All In One Printer and I recently purchased some 7" x 5" Super Photo Snap Cards, pre-perforated to 6" x 4".

Basically how do I print onto these cards? Is it best to feed these into the printer vertically or horizontally?

Do I have to resize my image to 6x4 once I load it in or can I just use the fit to page option?

As a test, I have loaded a photo into Photo Paint, resized it a little bigger than 6x4 so it prints over the perforations, then when i do a print preview, there are the options for user defined paper but do i need to alter this if i've already altered the Canvas size to 7x5?

I have tried everything short of a miracle and I'm pretty sure there is a very simple way around this. Each time I've tried printing out in draft as a test, the image is either too small, doesn't print in the right place, or it prints to the very edge of the paper.... Arrgghhhhh, HELP!

If anyone has an answer or can tell me if there is a tutorial anywhere step by step for Photo Paint or any other software package, I will be eternally grateful :) I have tried the help files with Corel Photo Paint but they do not address the problem. I'm willing to even try using other software and I've been a web-user reader for a year now so perhaps someone knows of a guide as I have all this years magazines still. Looking forward to hearing from someone :) Thanks, Pat.
