My daughter has a new laptop with vista premiem and an internet broadband connection with Talk Talk via a router. It has been working fine until she disconnected the adsl cable form the phone and the router in order to re-connect a shorter cable. Since then she has not been able to connect with the internet, although the laptop works with the ethernet cable, she has shut down the power on the router , left it for one minute, then reconnected, per the handbook instructions, to no avail. Why has this happened and how can she reconnect. Thanls for any help.
