I have it working now. I had a cable with a wireless router I bought some months ago to wireless my laptop to my PC and I hadnt had a chance to unpack it because of all these problems. The cable works great and I can now access satellite broadband through my PC. I want to thank you soooooooooo very much for your help, I have had this problem since I first got satellite broadband last March !!!

Now all I have to do is work out how to inmstall the router successfully and set up the laptop wirelessly. LOL I may have to repost any problems on this forum LOL fingers crossed I dont have to.
