That one I linked to has 2 in the box. You need one by the router. Plug in an ethernet cable from one of the router's ports into the homeplug. Plug the other one in near to your computer and connect it via ethernet. You should be able to purchase a single one to plug in another socket elsewhere to also receive the signal.
