Thanks for quick response GMAC My new computer is running Vista while my other is running XP. I connect to the internet on broadband using a modem. I was looking on the internet for a "Y" type cable - ie one in and two out so that both could be connected at the same time, but not knowing the correct name for this type of cable (if it exists) I didn't get very far. I understand that the conventional method would be to use a router, but it seems a bit of an overkill for what might just be a passing phase. Cheers Privet |
