So the PC can't even see the router properly. That suggests that you haven't got all the services/protocols set up for your NIC. Can you go to Device Manager and make sure that your NIC is fully functioning. If it is go to Control Panel, Network Connections and right click on the Local Connection and choose Properties. What have you got showing in the box?
