Thanks for your prompt reply. No I hadn't disabled ZAP at startup. I now have and also checked that Windows firewall is disabled and rebooted. Still have the problem tho'.

I note that if I mouse-over the LAN icon in the systray it shows Speed: 10 Mbps and Status: Limited or no connectivity", and of course, I cannot access the Internet.

Does this help and is there anything else I can try? Right now I am using my original ADSL modem to connect otherwise I can't send this!

Any more ideas/help greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
