IE/Outlook

Nearly everytime i use Outlook and close it down it leaves a blank Internet Explorer page and when i close this down it a nag screen appears saying that IE has encountered a problem do i wish to send a report to Microsoft. The details to be sent are C:\DOCUME~1\JOHNTH~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1eea.dir00\iexplore.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\JOHNTH~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1eea.dir00\appcompat.txt
Any advise would be appreciated.
