when i said "no harm" i just meant that i wouldn't be using NORTON, it's very resourse hungry and will slow the computer down.
that is the problem, there are that many bad files (millions) that identifying them can be difficult. and sometimes we never get to know exactly what they are, we just know that they shouldn't be there.
a good site to check first is KEPHYR
and then it just means googling them.
