it's a bit low on specs (467mhz), it should work ok but it will be a bit slow.
i take it that it only has a small hard drive 6-8 gb, do you have much free space on it ?
is it recognizing the new Ram ?, right click on MY COMPUTER, select PROPERTIES and see what specs it gives.
