Bricat thanks once again - things are much better, I also reinstalled Norton's which wasn't working properly after the combofix and now things really are better than before.

You say 'no harm' I have tried to research the three 'nasties' but there is little info and I am concerned if I look in teh wrong place it might be inviting them back (is there a website you can recommend?) I did glean that one of tehm may be a keylogger and as a result someone could have my info - is this really something to worry about?
