I don't think you can achieve what you want via the Yahoo route, but Popcorn would be ideal.
I have just tried using -->> Popcorn 1.94 <<-- via a removable drive, and it works very well.
It also leaves messages on the sever so you can also download them again from say Outlook/Outlook Express should you have them set up to do so.
You will have to input the individual settings at your leisure and at a place of your choice as long as you have the preferred device, ie Flash drive for easy portability, and distribute accordingly. Once the recipient has received the portable drive, the folder containing the account ini can be saved to their HDD (Desktop) and used from there and the Flash drive returned.
I don't see why you can't also do this via CD.
It may be wise to also advise on the Firewall potentially stopping traffic and defeating the object of using a portable device or a copied folder from other removable media.
