Is anybody else having this problem with IE7?

I bought a new computer and it is preloaded with IE7 (I much prefer IE6).

I opened Outlook Express and set up an account with my Hotmail (I've had this Hotmail account since 2001 so know it will work with Outlook Expess). The problem I am having is that Outlook Express is now refusing to remember the password, in fact the little box that you tick to remember is always shaded.

I've deleted the account and added it many times but no different. I have also tried other accounts that are not hotmail and I get the same result.

This happene before I installed XP SP3 and after it the problem remains.
