Problem with outlook express since setting up wireless internet connection

Good evening,

Last week I set up a wireless internet connection for my grandparents with the broadband supplier being sky. Since then they have not been able to send or receive emails via outlook express. Their email provider is gmail and I set it so that they could send and receive via outlook express. Everything was fine when they connected via dialup, and they had no problems until they started to use the wireless broadband. They get an error box when the press send / receive.

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection.

Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems or a long period of inactivity. Account 'xxxx@googlemail.co.uk" server 127.0.0.1 protocol: POP3, Port:110 secure (SSL)..."

The only variables are the wireless broadband and mcafee security that came free with the broadband.

They are running windows xp with all the updates being up to date so to speak.

Any suggestions and advice are very much appreciated.
