Thank you for your really sensible advice, Fusion, which was brilliant and very much appreciated. However, I do not sadly seem to have an "arrange by" tab in my view menu, and instead of one header for each day, with all the received/sent/whatever messages listed underneath, I now have a header for each email which I have to click on a plus button to open. This is sort of a result but not as my friend has. How can I set up a heading for a group of messages, rather than for each please anybody?

Is there also a way to bulk delete messages received after a certain date rather than an entire mailbox?
