Hi greysts, Many thanks for your prompt message in reply and for your interest in my problem. Broadband is TalkTalk and email provider is Zoom.com. I'm pleased to say that I solved the problem by going to Zoom.com where the messages were on the webmail site. I then deleted most of them and came back to outlook express where the rogue email had disappeared and everything was fine once more. From what you said I suspect that this was exactly what you were going to suggest. Many Thanks. rashid |
