I get this error a lot even after I have ticked Disable script debugging and unticked Display a notification about every script error.

The other problem is that even though I set these options they keep getting lost and not just after a Windows Update. It happens virtually every day and sometimes even without a reboot.

I saw in Web User about another option that can (or should) be changed but I can't find the magazine with the article any more. I tried it at the time but had to revert because I found certain things didn't work. I'm struggling to remember what didn't work but I think is was online banking.
