IE6 - Error Message

For the past couple of weeks, on closing down IE6, I've been getting what looks like an official Microsoft IE message by way of a small window or panel which informs me "Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for this inconvenience" The window/panel carries the blue Explorer logo. It then tells me "if you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on maybe lost" .

It then says "Please tell Microsoft about this problem" and explains it will automatically create an error report to send to Microsoft and finally provides 2 buttons, one sends the error report and one doesn't.

Is this a genuine Microsoft error message?

I'm getting it at every session, Paul Lomax on the YBW forum advised me to use the repair option on my control panel but this hasn't effected a repair so I've just downloaded a complete new IE6 installation and I'm STILL getting the message. He also advised me if I couldn't resolve the thing to talk to you guys on here.

I can't close a session of Internet Explorer without this window flashing up. So my question is - have I genuinely got an IE problem or is this a virus (though I don't think it can be as I do have Norton Antivirus and ZoneAlarm installed).

Your advice would be welcomed and please feel free to call me a prat if the solution is obvious.

Cheers, Brian.
