I know that you posted this a while ago now, but after 2 months of trying to resolve this problem and talking to numerous "technical support advisors", I decided to do a web seacrh. Your advice was fantastic and it worked, and I just wanted to say a massive thank you for posting this up, you have no idea how happy and relieved I was when my Broadband was up and running again.
