I hope you don’t mind me asking, its sort of a broadband help question ![]() How come UK broadband upload speeds are average around 30-40kbps, but basic American broadband has upload speeds of around 150kbps+. Why does British broadband fall behind in this area of broadband? It’s come to a point where everyone is sharing movie files, songs, uploading pictures, movies & files on the web for storage & so forth that uploading is almost as important as downloading now. The uploading speeds are so poor, you could say were still in the stone age compared to other countries. I have a friend who is in Israel & his uploading cable broadband is close to 300kbps. How can a country deemed a 2nd world country have better performing broadband that a county like England? Does anyone have any input on this as I would really like to see better uploading speeds without having to pay an arm & a leg to get it. |
