Was about to sympathise with you earlier on OurStanley, when my NTL BB decided to die on me (grrrrrrrr!). Rang Tech Support and I've got to say they have always been extremely helpful, courteous and thorough in trying to assist. Operator said she could detect a fault their end, took my phone number but explained that the engineers don't work on Saturdays (thank goodness theres 2 comps in this house as I have some typing work to send via e-mail today). Within an hour, my BB decided to return and NTL called me back, yes an engineer is on his way here before noon today (obviously an engineer earning overtime for Xmas, but who cares!). Did explain to her that I'm back online but she still suggested the engineer to have a look! Good service or what? Full marks to NTL!! Never put off till tomorrow what you can avoid all together |
