new pc hp a 6325

hi I have just purchased a new pc HP A6325 pleased with its performance but on opening some web sites i am unable to view the full screen.have an hp w1907v 19"monitor and have not had a problem like this before have tried clicking on maximize but doesn't help. please can someone advise on how to resolve this problem,thanks.
