Printer Not Printing!!!!

Hi im running vista with internet explorer,never had a problem printing pages directly off explorer until now,When i send something to print using word or mozilla firefox it works fine,but when i use IE7 nothing seems to be happening,the icon appears at the bottom of the screen but it says there are no documents pending,someone please help,many thanks in advance
