My DVD/CD Drive wont auto play

Hi bit of help please.
My dvd/cd drive used to play any disk automatically when it was inserted but this has now stopped for some reason and is a bit annoying.
I went into my computer, right clicked the drive and selected properties. From there, when I check the auto play options everthing seems to be OK.
Any suggestions on what else could be causing this ???
