Well, I sent it to the PC doctor and he managed to retrieve and back up all of my data.
I now have it back and working but the CPU is running at 100% so obviously everything is slow. If it lets me I will post HJTL later. Just thought I'd let you know how my baby is!!! Oh, and he reckoned it wasn't a virus but a hardware glitch.
