re-installing

My brother and I both have Dell PC's that came with SONIC My DVD installed on them. He has deleted his version but wants it back.
Is there a way to re-install from the discs that he got with the PC ( none of them have SONIC wrote on them ), or is it possible to copy my version and load it onto his PC. I tried puting it onto disc and loading it to his PC but it wouldn't load. I'd appreciate any help.
