I have the Hauppauge WinTV Go, which is the absolute basic version, but it works well. Combined with Power VCR i can schedule recordings and record programs onto my hard drive which is handy when the wife insists on watching soaps as i can let it record in the background and watch it later as computer and TV are in same room.

I'm seriously considering getting the DEC 2000-T from Hauppauge as it can be plugged into the TV via Scart and the PC via USB at the same time. Its a Digital TV receiver and it comes with a remote control and costs Ł110 from Scan. It looks a good bit of kit.
