Tried it and still no success. When I connect the ipod to the USB I get a box that pops up saying "additional hardware detected, please install drivers". I then click on the ok button and another box appears that says "drivers could not be located, please install the disc that came with your ipod". When I go into the device manager, the ipod is shown as a device, with a small exclamation mark next to it(?). Rang Apple today and spoke with them for some time before they decided that they did not have a solution and that I should send them screenshots of the pop-up boxes, so that they can forward them on to their engineers. If this continues, I think that I am going to have to get rid of Vista and go back to XP. I need the ipod more than I need the hassles that come with Vista |
