speedtouch st330 Vista driver?

Morning All
A friend of mine is currently struggling with the above modem on a brand new PC with the Vista OS. I've had a look on the thompson website for downloads but there's no mention of Vista drivers.
It came with a cd which he has installed, but he says that he is only getting orange ( I think) lights coming on the modem.
I suggested that it may be a driver issue or possibly a faulty modem.
Any ideas would be great.
