I'm not sure which forum to use...Problem as follows: I have had AOL Broadband since last August and the modem has never been able to make the connection...AOL was contacted numerous times about this and we were told to uninstall and reinstall the software many times, then we were told to have our phone line checked, which proved to be just fine. AOL then told us that we had a conflict within our pc, upon having that checked, there was nothing wrong with it. AOL told us to take the modem to another pc and see if it would work elsewhere. We didn't do this because we were afraid that we'd then be told that we had some how damaged the modem. I asked for our money back for the overpayment on the broadband and was told that I had to wait until the third of August when the contract was up and that we have to stay with AOL to receive any credit. I don't like being bullied into staying with a provider, and I don't want credit, I want our money back for the twelve months we've been overpaying AOL....We are worried that once the contract expires, we won't have a leg to stand on...Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance: D. Lloyd
