Yes they are through a router. Just off the phone again with NTL this time i was told. Right click Internet explorer go to property's connections LAN tick use a proxy server give me a IP address to put in it and would you believe it worked. Then told me to remove it in a week or so and by then original settings should be fine ? well i am just happy its working at the minute to next time
Why did they not tell me that first time and not 5 calls later
