hi, just wondering, i called BT to see if my exchange was able to get broadband and they said yes at 512Kb, not super fast but at least 10 times faster than dial up, excited with the news i got onto my isp AOL and they said NO exchange isnt able to supply it and bt are maybe spinning me a line about the supply to cover themselves, i then got back to bt and they said for deffinite that they could supply, i bit the bullet and said ok give me broadband and then, even although i would be a new customer, they said i would have to pay for the modem myself, i asked about any special offers of free modem or a free month but nothing, so im stuck on dial up at the mo until bt come up with some sort of deal to get new customers. a strange case between aol and bt of yes but no but.............cinz |
