Virgin 24/7 ISP

Good morning all. Have a question regarding my father's Virgin 24.7 ISP account. For the past 24 hours he can't get connected. He's spoken to the Virgin people and they've not been able to help him either. When he tries to log in, it dials up 10 times then says "line busy". He has three different 0808 numbers but none of them seem to be working. Virgin don't have a service status connection on their website (grrrrr at ISPs who don't do this). Does anyone have any ideas what he can do to get back online or any other 0808 virgin numbers he can try. Many thanks for any help and advice.
