Temp file query
      #392458 - Wed Apr 23 2008 10:59 AM

I have XP 2 System and Norton System Works. Whenever I use their Find & Fix problem - One button check up - the following Temp file shows up and cannot be deleted.
C:\Windows\Temp\Jet9eco.tmp

Running the standard windows disk clean-up no temp file remain un-deleted.

Any clues please and should I worry about it ?

Thank you

D.Leoni

Nope.

Have you navigated manually to C:\Windows\Temp to see if the folder contains anything.

Click on "start" then "run". In the open box type in , or copy and paste , C:\Windows\Temp , click OK.

Thanks and I have tried open it but it will not let me because has been used by another programme or process but the screen looks empty. Tried to delete it and it advises me to close any programme that is using it!

Not much further, really; any other suggestion or shall I just leave it?

It looks like a file that might be created by an ink jet printer economiser package. Got anything like that?

Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.

No and I am using an Epson 870 with an XP driver. I know what you mean by thinking of Jet and Jet printer. I have checked and I dont have this facility except when I manually choose the mode
