Windows update

Windows update keeps advising that KB942615 is required. This is a cumulative security update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP.
The warning has been received despite the update being installed on 17 Dec 2007.
I have had warninge previously with a previous update KB 939653.
Any ideas as to why Windows update does not recognise the existance of the updates on my PC.
