Missing XP file
      #391919 - Thu Apr 17 2008 09:47 PM

I am getting an error message when I try to boot-up that says that the
<Windows root>system32\ntoskrnl.exe file is missing.

I have tried booting in safe mode, last known config, and starting normally several times to no avail. I also unplugged the keyboard as I read on an older thread that can sometimes be the issue. Still nothing. Also I got the computer second-hand so no Windows cd to work from.

Could anyone advise me on where to go from here. Possibly PM me the file or give me any other fixes? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
