Removing vista for XP 64bit on Notebook HP6510b ??

Hi all
i just bought the hp 6510b notebook i have remove vista to install xp64bit but it can't recognize the HDD (its a SATA)i have check on hp website but i can just install normal XP. Anyone can help.

XP 64 bit probably has fewer drivers than Vista. Why buy a new computer then install a different Operating System?

You probably need SATA drivers from the HP website. If they have any.

i needed this notebook just for the hardware (graphic and memory). i have search for it on hp website i got two but none works. so i inserted normal xp. if anyone can find sata driver for the hdd let me know plz
