I operate Windows XP (SP2) and am trying to install a Webcamera. Part of the instructions tell me to "(Re)install chipset USB drivers". I have not done this before and I wonder if there is someone out there who can guide me through the basics if this task?? With many thanks!! Bancar

Bancar, in most cases, with XP, it should be unnecessary to install any drivers.
Install any software for the camera from the cd that comes with the webcam, and reboot. All you should need to do then is plug the webcam into an available USB port. Windows should do the rest.

Dear putasolutions
Sorry to be so long with reply. Bank Hol etc etc!!! Many thanks for your tips. I tried to connect up but no luck. After much too and frowing I found that my extension USB connection was not working as it should as I had to disconnect & reconnect the camera every time before it would start up!! I have now connected the Webcam direct to my computer through one of its ready made USB connections and , altho not yet tested, I feel it should at last be operational!! With many thanks
