hi, ive been trying to find a dvd to mp3 freeware ripper that just dose the job without asking for extra codex n stuff, spent houres trawling but none of them seem to work,im on xp sp2,can anyone out there give me a clue, cheers dave uk

DVD's are usually audio+video, MP3 is audio only. Do you mean you are trying to rip the audio track only?

i suppose it would, i could just connect my dvd player to pc and use sound recording software but i was thinking of the conveiance of just being able to rip from the dvd,thanks anyway.

G'day davedarkstar.
You haven't looked very hard. I have just found a couple of DVD/Audio rippers in a few of mins. I don't think I can put on here where they can be found.

You're right not to post those links. Copying audio tracks from copyrighted DVD's is an illegal act and this thread has run far enough. I will close it.
