Posting DVD clip on website? Any help please?

I am trying to put a 12 minute DVD clip on my website. I think wmv format would be best. i am looking for a free converter to convert it to this format? can anyone suggest one?
I would post it on Youtube and simply put a link on my site. unfortunatley Youtube now have a 10 minte limit so I cannot do this.
Any help/advice greatly appreciated

Google video I think allow longer clips - try them and you can link to your website in the same way
