Hi, I recently bought a CANON video camera(Canon DC21) which records directly on mini-DVDs. I have tried to read the mini-DVDs (-RW)I had recorded directly on my computer, and apparently, I need a special software in order to read them. The format which appears on the file has a .VRO extension (on one side and apparently for the video track) and a .IFO extension (I supppose for the audio tracks) and Windows XP does not recognisze these formats. Has anyone an idea of a free software I could use to read these mini-disks on my computer ? Thanks in advance for your help. Edmond
What does the manual say about transferring to PC?

Sorry, I was not 100% complete in my request : Although I have not tried it yet and according to the Manual, I should be able to copy the recorded mini-disks onto my computer using the Video Camera and a USB cable given with the camera itself. However, my problem is not transferring onto a PC. My problem is the following : I want to be able to give the disks away right after recording - so, without going though my computer - and people using their own computer should be in a position to read (only read) these mini-disks later - even if they have to install a free software to do so. Any hint you can give ? Thanks in advance. Edmond
